Peasant Days, talks, workshops, routes, photography contest are some of the activities of June Green (07/05/2018)

The program of 'Green June' full of activities for all ages that are distributed between the months of May and June, on the occasion of the commemoration of World Environment Day, has been presented recently by the Councilor for the Environment, Juan Valera, and the members of the June Green Coordinator.

The first activity is the visit, on May 16, of the students of the 1st of ESO from the Los Cantos Institute to the Bullas Depurated Station.

The next, and highlighted in the programming, is Saturday 19 when the V Farmers' Conference is held at the youth center La Almazara.

From 10 o'clock in the morning there will be a market of organic and artisan products, talks, screenings, popular food, traditional music, etc.

In May, there would also be two other activities, one on the 26th with the realization of a workshop for the construction of nest boxes for birds (inscription in the Informajoven), and another, on May 27 in which a route will be made through the Paraje de la Osamenta and that will have the company of Santiago Fernández, PhD in Biology.

The departure is from the Plaza de España at 9 in the morning.

In the month of June, on the 8th, specifically, you will be able to see the documentary 'Seeds of tomorrow' in the plenary hall of the City Council.

At its end Laure Gougerot will give a talk on the subject.

The next day, an excursion through the Salto del Usero will take place to learn about the plants in the area organized by Salto Sostenible.

Also, on June 16 there will be a day of open doors in the Micro-gardens at 12.30 and on June 17, the Reclaiming March will be held for an ecological flow of the Mula River.

The departure will be at 9.15 am from the parking lot of Salto del Usero.

The eleventh edition of Fotorrally de Bullas will take place on the weekend of June 23 and 24.

At the same time, the Canicross organized by the Bullas Animal and Plant Protection Association will be developed.

In addition, to all these activities it is necessary to add that on May 16 and June 2 will be carried out two courses promoted from the Cobuco Cooperative on grafting fruit trees and the necessary care.

And another on fruit pruning on July 25 and 26.

In this program, it is also included the routes in the light of the full moon that they organize from the Bullas Mountain Group on June 29, July 27 and August 24.

"As we can see there are many activities to celebrate the World Environment Day with the aim of remembering that we must take care, protect and safeguard our environment, becoming active agents making our planet a more sustainable place" said Councilman Juan Valera in the presentation of the programming.

The mayor of the Environment also wanted to thank all the associations 'Good Migas', 'Esamur', 'Cañada del Prao', 'Biosegura', 'Salto Sostenible', 'Mountain Group' and 'Paticas' for their collaboration and invited everyone to participate either as a family, as a couple, as a group or individually in each of the different activities.

In addition, this year they awarded José Gea, Head of Services of the City of Bullas, for his work in favor of the Environment.

And a video was presented in which a march is called for to maintain the ecological flow of the Mula River, carried out by Joaquín Olmedo of the Sustainable Jumping Association.
