Next Sunday, June 3, during the market of local products and craft El Zacatín will remember how it was the independence and constitution of the "Villa de Bullas".
As usual in recent years, the flea market in June focuses on the Baroque period, specifically at the end of the 17th century, when the "Villa de Bullas" arose in 1689, when King Carlos II granted the privilege of villazgo to Bullas, after segregating from Cehegín.
Visitors who visit the market can see the craftsmen dressed and decorated streets and squares of the Baroque period.
The Plaza de España will be the setting for a theatrical performance "The Constitution of the Villa de Bullas", where you can learn about the whole process that led Bullas to independence.
The representatives of the representation are the local theater company Matícate and the students of the Bullas Theater School.
The theatrical performance can be seen at 11:30 and at 1:00 p.m.
The artisan show of the month of June will be dedicated to costume jewelery, it will be made by Ana, craftswoman that belongs to the Artisans Guild of the Region of Murcia.
We will learn how to make Murano pearls, which are the basis on which the costume jewelery is later elaborated as well as traditional decoration in general.
From 11.00 am, the animation will come from the Zancdos of Pyros Shows in Alicante and the musicians of the Chirimias de Murcia group.
And the little ones also have a space with activities such as workshops and children's crafts by the hand of Naturaventura El Romero, from 11.30 h.
The Zacatín, as usual, is celebrated between 9 and 2 pm, and will be located in the Old Square and the Castle.
It will have an information point where you can learn more resources offered by the municipality of Bullas and allow you to enjoy a pleasant day with your family.
