The Mayor of Bullas, María Dolores Muñoz, and the Councilor for the Environment, Juan Valera, have met with the General Director of the Environment and Mar Menor, Antonio Luengo Zapata, recently.
Among the topics discussed, there was talk of the request by the City of Bullas for the remodeling of the municipal Ecoparque, providing it with a perimeter wall, while improving the environmental classroom and increasing its space to work better the separation of waste.
In this sense, the mayor of Environment notes that "the Ecopark of Bullas is among those who have more tickets and better located is compared to other municipalities in the Region of Murcia.Neighbors make good use of these facilities due to which it is inside the urban helmet and facilitates the waste disposal enough for its recycling and / or reuse It also has one of the most flexible schedules in terms of the number of days and hours open ".
On the other hand, the need to acquire containers of small size for the recycling of light packaging was also put on the table, especially for the old town of Bullas where there is a smaller space.
Bullas is one of the first municipalities in the region that most recycles glass and of those that best separate light containers, it is also above average in the recycling of WEEE, electrical and electronic waste.
