Last Friday, the Department of Culture of the City of Bullas presented the awards of the III Amateur Theater Competition 'Villa de Bullas' held between the months of January and February.
The work that won the first prize, worth 300 euros, was the company 'Theater in construction' of Elche by 'Huanita'.
In second place, 'Una noche en su casa señora' from 'Coliseo Teatro' in Callosa de Segura took the prize of 200 euros.
And finally, the third prize of 100 euros was for 'Colón, verses of minor art for an illustrious man' from the company 'Ugteatro' of Murcia.
As for best actor and actress, the awards went to Daniel Ibáñez from the company 'Coliseo Teatro' and to Laura Linares from 'Teatro en construcción'.
Each one gets 100 euros of prize.
The award for the best address went to the director of 'Huanita' and is endowed with 200 euros that the company of Elche takes.
In addition, the public that for the first time in the three years of edition of the Contest could vote and choose a better work, selected 'Una noche en su casa señora' from 'Coliseo Teatro'.
Among all the voters, a raffle was won by Teresa Jiménez, who takes a Ruta del Vino de Bullas for two people.
