Tomorrow begins the III Campesino Conference, framed in programming June Verde 2016. The Department of Environment, together with the Coordinating June Verde, organized three days of lectures, talks, organic market and workshops for children, where you can enjoy everything related with agroecology is the ultimate goal.

This Thursday at 19.30 in the Social Hall of La Cruz, will be the talk - discussion by Jairo Restrepo Rivera, Agronomist, entitled "Another agriculture is possible: tools and vision to restore soil health, the economy and society ".

Jairo Restrepo Rivera, in recent years, has written and published several books on the subject of organic agriculture.

Internationally, he has given over 320 lectures on topics of organic agriculture, environmental protection, recycling and sustainable development.

He has worked as a technical advisor to governments, ministries and parliaments.

And it is founded the COAS (Council for Sustainable Agriculture and Permaculture) member.

On Friday June 3, the lecture-moves to the House of Culture at 20.30.

Attendees can attend to the explanations of the Community of Irrigators of Miraflores de Jumilla on the uses of treated water in agriculture.

The market with organic products and handicrafts will be held on Saturday in the garden of La Cruz, from 11 in the morning, where there will also be a workshop for children, a contest for making desserts with fruits (inscriptions on the Informajoven).

In the afternoon, we will visit the exhibition of models of neighbor Bullas, Alfonso Fernandez and to close the Third Conference a talk led by Carmen Perez Pagan and Jose Ramon Rosell on permaculture, healthy foods and regeneration of the territory.
