Each October 19 is celebrated World Breast Cancer Day and the City of Bullas adds to the celebration hanging a pink ribbon on its facade symbol of the commitment of the whole society in the fight against this disease.

In Bullas, the Local Board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, now presided over by Emilio Fernández, has organized a march on Tuesday, October 24 at 4.30 pm on the streets of the municipality, and then, at the end, it will take place a conference in the auditorium of the House of Culture, given by experts on the subject, among them, Doctor Navarrete, who in turn is President of the Provincial Board of Murcia of the Spanish Association against Cancer.
Breast cancer is the most common tumor in Western women.
According to statistics, one in eight women will have breast cancer throughout their life, the positive is that between 75 and 85 percent of them are cured and if the stage is precocious, between 80 and 90 per hundred.
