Bullas joins the celebration of the European Day of Enotourism (08/11/2017)

Next Sunday, November 12, is the date set for the celebration of the European Day of Wine Tourism, a day that this year celebrates the ninth edition and which aims to promote and value wine tourism in Europe.

The European Network of Wine Cities (RECEVIN), a non-profit organization dedicated to the affirmation of the historical-cultural, patrimonial, economic and social identity of the cities and territories related to the production of quality wine, is the driving entity of this initiative since 2009, and is that, among its functions is also to publicize the culture, heritage and traditions of the wine regions, the wine routes, the cities associated with the European Network and all the wine tourism offer .

RECEVIN is present in more than 700 cities in Europe, for this it has the support of national associations, in our country it is the Spanish Association of Wine Cities (ACEVIN), and it is the one that has made known the wide program of activities that They will develop in the Wine Routes of Spain, among them, the Bullas Wine Route.

So, on Saturday, the 11th, Bullas City Council, together with the Bullas Wine Route Association (of which it forms part), organized the 'SecretWine Walks' activity - discovering the roads of wine - which on this occasion, participants will discover places as unknown as Martibáñez and the good work in the elaboration of Bodegas San Isidro de Bullas wines together with the gastronomic proposals of the Borrego Restaurant.

In addition, between today and tomorrow, the Bullas Wine Museum hosts a tasting session called 'Eno-armonías: small liquid gems and edible delicacies from Bullas and Murciano Northwest'.

Directed by Jonantan Vinal, the Ambassador of the Bullas Wine Route 2017, the attendees will be immersed in the skills and knowledge of this expert sommelier to learn how to combine food and various delicacies with each other and also to choose the wines that best adapt to each gastronomic proposal.

On the other hand, until Sunday, you can visit the exhibition 'Arte y vino en cristal' by Pepe Reina in the temporary exhibition hall of the Museo del Vino.

And, according to ACEVIN and the latest data obtained from the Tourist Observatory of the Wine Routes of Spain, wine tourism continues its growth, in recent years its economic impact has increased and it seems that in Spain it already exceeds 54 million of euros, and only in relation to visits to the wineries and wine museums of the Wine Routes of Spain, it would be necessary to add the relative to the restoration, to other activities in other establishments, to overnight stays, etc.
