Throughout this morning on the occasion of the Festival of San Marcos, the students of 3rd Primary of the schools: Artero, Ródenas, Amor de Dios and Antonio Machado de La Copa;
They have participated in the children's workshops organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Bullas, with the collaboration of associations and groups of the town, on traditions.
Before starting the workshops, Councilman Antonio José Espín welcomed all the students and explained to them what they would consist of, giving way to a video about the traditions and popular culture of Bullas, especially during the festivity of San Marcos.
"We must keep our traditions alive and instill in the children the popular wisdom of our elders," said Espin, adding that "it is a very beautiful party that enjoys a great public acceptance so that among all we must preserve the decorum in the clothing, folklore music and traditional dances and that it continues that way for many more years ".
The children of 8 and 9 years have made a tour of the different stand located in the Plaza de España and inside the House of Culture.
This experience has allowed them to know what the typical dance is like, the most famous folklore songs and how it used to be esparto.
Also, they have seen what is the clothing for an orchard and an orchard and have been able to take photos in a photocall dedicated to the San Marcos party.
This activity that takes place for the first time, today, coinciding with the saint's name day, is an initiative that started from the Table of Seniors and that had the favor and involvement of all schools.
Also, the users of the Day Center and the Cognitive Stimulation Room have participated, encouraging themselves to sing the typical songs of the popular folklore of Murcia.
