Councilman United Left-Greens in the municipality of Bullas, Manuel Escámez, today expressed his opposition to the proposal by the mayor of Bullas, Peter Guy, changing the timing of the wine festivals to the month of February.
Escámez said that this change is "a symptom of the politics of improvisation that characterized the early months of the government and ineffective on the right," and urged the first mayor to bet on a "real defense of the wine sector in Bullas ".
In his view, the celebration of festivals like Bullas Wine in the final weeks of summer and the festivities environment "was a wise decision of previous governments, backed by the commission of Celebration, organ involvement suppressed by PP , which is burying participation. "
The wine festival has been held so far around the time of harvest, which traditionally secular history, joined the festivities and religious harvest time.
"Now comes the new mayor, and from improvisation and absolute ignorance poses a decision that only serves to subtract splendor to the festivities, and therefore damage the wine industry," she added Escámez.
