On Thursday 29 December at 21:30 hours, will take place in the Hall of the House of Culture launched the book "The nicknames Bullas. Origin and actors", by historian and broadcaster Jose Luis Bullas García Caballero.
In what is his fifth publication, the author reveals to the fullest extent the roots and the initiators of the more than 1,100 nicknames that come Bullas covered by it, a topic certainly curious and interesting that will help us better understand the people Bullas through a phenomenon so widespread and popular as a nickname, an element that accompanies almost every individual or family in the locality.
The event will be chaired by the mayor of Bullas, Peter Guy, accompanied by the Councillor of Culture in the City, Francisca Caballero.
The presentation will be in charge of Magdalena Álvarez Jiménez, president of the NGO Bullas Development "Manos Unidas", and Alberto Perez Nadal, vice president of the Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus of Nazareth, "The arrears."
After more than a year of research and compilation, made by hundreds of interviews and search for different family roots, this book sees the light in which the protagonists, as in every work of Jose Luis Garcia, are once again the bulleros of yesterday and today.
