The mayor of Bullas, Peter Boy, yesterday held a meeting with the Director General of Environment, Amador Lopez, to present the project "Urban Park The Cantos."
With this project, the City intends to use a forest near the town center to create a park using recycled materials and environmentally improving the environment.
The park would be located east of the town of Bullas and adjacent to two landfills, one of which has been recently sealed by the Directorate General for the Environment.
The surface count of about 40 000 m2 near the indoor pool, the Secondary School "Songs", the sports hall "Juan Valera" and where is located the Ecopark.
The first mayor of Bullas said: "The intention is to complete in phases this green area so it can be enjoyed by the neighbors," for it regardless of artificial products such as recycled concrete and others are discarded.
For its part, the Director General of Environment attended the Mayor's explanations and showed its commitment to such projects which he said "respect and enhance the environment," adding that "it will be a very bulleros visited by all."
