The City of Bullas part, along with 7 other municipalities in the region, the Housing Information System (SIVMURCIA), a collaboration agreement signed with the Ministry of Fomentos, Public Works and Planning to create a census of empty homes .
The Director, Francisco Barnabas, signed the agreement last Friday which said that this is "an absolutely new tool in Spain that will allow us to locate the housing stock and will facilitate decision-making in our housing policy".
Its objectives are explained Francisco Barnabas, "visit areas with surplus or deficit of housing in relation to the availability of land, developments in their occupation and state planning, state information of the housing stock, in their aging and conservation; and incorporate information supply and demand for housing. "
In addition the City of Bullas, agreements were signed by the municipalities of Caravaca de la Cruz, Las Torres de Cotillas, Murcia, Santomera, Puerto Lumbreras, Calasparra and Beniel, and are intended to encourage institutional and corporate collaboration for information exchange related to the housing sector, to incorporate such information to the Territorial Reference System through the geoportal SIVMURCIA.
SIVMURCIA is conceived as a thematic geoportal integrated into the Land Information System SITMURCIA, interrelated with different spatial information so as to allow the development of analysis and diagnosis as a basis for drafting plans and strategies on housing.
