The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities and the City of Bullas today agreed with the educational community public school Obispo García Ródenas improving infrastructure at the site in response to the demand for teachers, families and neighbors to cover part of the sports.
In the working meeting, the general director of Educational Centers, María Dolores Valcárcel, and the mayor of Bullas, Pedro Chico, presented technical reports and the project is to cover one third of the sports, which will benefit not only the educational community but also the residents of Bullas, as they can use it for different sports activities outside school hours.
Specifically, the sports court has overall dimensions of 44.60 by 25.45 meters, for a total area of ​​1.135,07 square meters.
The southern third of the track cover, resulting cover measures 15.90 meters in the north-south direction and 27.60 meters in the east-west.
The deck has therefore a total area of ​​438.85 square meters.
In addition to counseling and technical solutions to provide maximum comfort to the students in their sports practices gymnastics, Education has taken into account the different equipment with which they already have the facilities.
In fact, the court area to cover currently has six pockets, distributed in two towers of three, in their east and west sides, for night lighting.
The project provides for the implementation of the cover, which will be lacquered corrugated sheet, gable, with a slope of 25 percent, supported on steel frames peraltados metal beams and pillars.
