The Ministry of Environment, Rural and Marine Affairs, through the Segura basin, has entered the City of Bullas, the amount of 500,000 € for the project for upgrading the Boulevard of the Councillor.
The Rambla, which is located in Zone Carrascalejo, has a peculiar case that makes a greater contribution of water through the soil, so they appear as sub-humid forest species and hybrids of this gall with oaks.
In its forest riparian species can be found as braziers, elm, ash, black poplars and willows, and in drier areas of the Rambla, the oaks are being replaced by scrub, which appear with mastic, thorns, and esparto grass, grassland and thyme.
Due to its high environmental value, the municipality of Bullas presented a draft to the Segura basin, in order to make this road a space for recreation and make it suitable for hiking, bike ride, etc., Always protecting environmental heritage that this space is for Bullas.
This grant is in addition to 1,000,000 euros, which the City received a few months of the CHS, for the realization of a River Walk in the environment of the Fountain of Rafa.
Thus, in less than a year, the municipality of Bullas has received from the Government of Spain, the amount of 1,500,000 euros for the realization of both projects.
