Bullas City Council receives the donation of two paintings by the painter Emilio Murcia Villaescusa (26/06/2009)

In a ceremony held at the Casa-Museo Don Pepe Marsilla of Bullas, the painter Emilio Villaescusa official has delivered two of his paintings devoted to the subject Bullas local council.

The event was attended by Mayor Master Craft Guild Several Regional, D.

José María Gómez del Toro, the Councillor for Tourism, Ms María Dolores Muñoz, and the Mayor of Bullas, D.

Esteban Egea.

The main protagonist is undoubtedly the table dedicated to the Clock Tower Bullas and will be permanently exhibited in this museum dedicated to the customs and traditions.

Preside over one of the rooms of that house museum, precisely at the point where the clock tower is presented as a major new construction in the early twentieth century.

The Casa-Museo Don Pepe Marsilla is the ideal place since it is set in 1900, at which time the tower was built with the aim of regulating the rounds of irrigation farmers.

In addition to this table, Villaescusa donate another painting which represents the so-called Seal Harvest, an archaeological item is now in the Museum of Wine and serves to inform about the importance of production and consumption of wine in Roman times.

Therefore, each of these museums will Bullas an original painting by this artist.

These works were presented in the exhibition "Foster Bullas and Places", an exhibition in which the painter Emilio Villaescusa portrayed the most emblematic of this county.

Precisely the character work has been present recently in other exhibitions, including the one held in the Rector of the University of Murcia, where sites were collected unique regional geography.
