In order to improve the cleaning service in some specific areas during the summer in the municipality of Bullas, the Department of Services and Environment will intensify the work of waste collection especially during weekends.
The objective is that in places like the river and in the green areas of the municipality, garbage does not accumulate given the increase in the generation of the same by the commercial activity and the life in the locality in the public space at this time.
"Bullas City Council is going to make an extraordinary effort to keep our town and natural sites clean, but it needs the collaboration and responsibility of the citizens," says Councilman Juan Valera, who explains that this reinforcement will be during weekends and Mondays.
The mayor of Environment reminds citizens that garbage is not collected on Thursdays and Sundays, according to the contract with the company that this service.
Even so, and in anticipation of the increase in the generation of waste organic matter during the summer, extraordinary services will be planned in areas of restaurants, bars and supermarkets.
