With the body already made for the party, after the celebration of "la Marygil", a party that has been held for a few years in the parish in order to defray part of the expenses of the parties, the neighbors are preparing for a full day of activities on the occasion of their Patron Saint Festivities.
On the one hand, popular races, indoor football tournaments in the categories of children and adults and championship of parchís, and on the other, a great children's diana, concerts, dinner of clubs and tribute to the elderly.
This Friday, the second of the historical routes through the streets of the district is celebrated with the historian José Luís García Caballero, a perfect occasion to know the history and anecdotes of the district that has been growing along with Bullas.
On the day of Saturday, August 25, in the morning, the traditional children's water diana is celebrated.
For the sixth year and with great success of participation, the Commission prepares this mini-diana for the streets of the town for the little ones that will begin at 11.30 am from the Plaza de la Paz.
In the afternoon, starting at 5:00 pm, the popular races will begin.
First the infantile categories and later the adult ones.
This year will be the eleventh edition of the popular race.
While in the municipal park will begin at 7 pm the XI Futsal Tournament in honor of Alejandro Fernandez.
At nightfall, the appointment is in the street Rafael Romero where the rocks dinner at an evening that from 00:30 hours will be animated by a musical orchestra.
On the other hand, as in other years, there will be a cocktail contest.
On Sunday morning, in addition to playing the semifinal and final of the futsal tournament, will be held the VI Child Indoor Soccer Tournament "Tío Miguel" in the municipal park.
Another activity that is not lacking in this program of festivities is the tribute to the Third Age.
It will be Sunday afternoon at 20:30 in the Juan Pablo II Plaza.
The summer cinema can also be seen from Monday to Thursday during the week of the festivities with films such as Ballerina, Mi chica, Bolt and the shorts presented at the short film contest on La Copa starting at 10 pm.
In addition, on Tuesday, August 28 at 6:00 pm, an activity will be held with children and adults, where the former will learn a lot from the latter.
It will be in the Juan Pablo II plaza.
