The district of La Copa de Bullas celebrates from August 31 to September 4 its festivities in honor of its patrons Our Lady of Consolation and Our Lady of Help.
During those five days the neighbors celebrate, with hardly any rest, all the acts, between recreational and religious, programmed.
Friday is the well-known night of migas and with the parade of the rocks and the reading of the proclamation, this year by the neighbor, Salvador Gil Guirado, Doctor in Geography and Territorial Planning by the University of Murcia, the pistol is given of exit.
After an intense night of dancing with the group 'La Red', one of the most anticipated moments for young people is when it begins in the early morning of Saturday, at 7, the water target.
From the balconies and in each portal, with cubes and even hoses, water is thrown to all the people who dare to participate in the parade entertained by the band 'Los Peques'.
On Saturday from 4:00 pm the clubs disguise themselves and show their ingenuity in the parade of floats.
At the end of the ceremony the floral offering is made to the patrons.
At night, the coronation of queens and more music with the Athenas' orchestra takes place.
On Sunday the day of the Virgin of Consolation is celebrated with a midday mass and an afternoon procession in her honor.
In between, at about 6 in the afternoon there will be theater with Maticate in the Plaza Juan Pablo II.
The day ends with the fireworks castle to make way for the 'Vendetta' orchestra.
Arrived on Monday, the party moves to the area known as 'La Caña'.
There, the neighbors gather to spend the day and eat a great paella.
In addition, for all the public there will be inflatables throughout the day.
At nightfall, after the big barbecue wait for the concert of the locals 'The Cup' on the indoor park track.
On the last day, on Tuesday, the patron Ntra. Sra. Del Perpetuo Socorro takes center stage.
Also with a mass and procession so that the faithful can venerate the Virgin.
In the afternoon there are also popular games, games of a lifetime, such as tape races, bag races, beer drinking competition, etc.
At night the traca puts an end to the patron saint festivities, although the party ends when the music of 'La Reina' ends and puts the finishing touch on the Juan Pablo II square.
