The Department of Social Services and Equality, launches another year on the occasion of the Patron Saint Festivities two awareness campaigns, one against Harassment and Sexual Assault towards women and another for Responsible Consumption of Alcohol.
The campaign against Harassment and Sexual Assault has the motto "It is not no, no aggression without response".
From the Department have been printed brochures to inform citizens in social networks and schools how to help prevent, what to do if you see an aggression and in the case of suffering that aggression what to do.
"The goal is to get parties for all people, women and men, without violent attitudes that above all can harm the dignity of women, a party where respect and good treatment prevails," says area councilor Chari Martinez who thanks the Bullas Morada Brigade, the Civil Protection and the Bullas Local Police, their involvement in the campaign.
On the other hand, in reference to the prevention campaign against alcohol and drug abuse, the Edil de Servicios Sociales y Igualdad recalls the slogan "less alcohol, less drugs, more tolerance, more respect", convinced that "these campaigns awareness raising help in awareness and prevention, are small gestures that lead to create a more respectful and egalitarian society ".
Bullas City Council calls for the enjoyment of holidays sharing leisure with joy and respect for men and women to enjoy the festive spaces without suffering any form of sexual harassment or aggression and under the same conditions of equality and that the alcohol consumption be responsible.
