The Department of Equality and Social Services of the City of Bullas has scheduled different activities to commemorate the International Day against Gender Violence with the main objective of sensitizing the population about one of the worst scourges of society.
Thus, throughout these next days, you will be able to see on the façade of the Casa de Cultura a great purple ribbon symbol against macho violence.
In addition, the municipal radio station 'La Onda de Bullas' will broadcast from this Wednesday, November 21, programming and sections dedicated especially to address the issue of gender violence.
On the other hand, on Friday, November 23, an event will be held at the Castellar School with the participation of all students who will make a giant balloon tie and also read a manifesto.
It is expected the assistance of the Mayor, María Dolores Muñoz, the Councilor for Social Services, Chari Martínez, and the Councilor for Education, Antonio José Espín, as well as members of the Local Police, Civil Guard, Social Services and Equality Agency.
That same day, but at night at 20.30 in the premises of the Don Pepe House will open the exhibition of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture and will proceed to the awards of the contests called by Equality under the slogan "eradicate the gender violence ".
Immediately afterwards, at 9:00 pm in the Don Pepe House, there will be a theatrical presentation "There are authors that kill" by the local company 'Vamos a vivir'.

The III Interurban March against violence against women will be held at 11 am on the morning of Saturday 24 and will leave from the Plaza de España.
Participants will carry a banner that will carry the slogan "Before gender violence do not stay parad @".
Also throughout the day, activities such as storytelling, 'pequesóbados' and 'tarde tarde' will focus on raising awareness on the subject.
Looking forward to next week, on Wednesday November 28 at the Day Center will also be the play "There are authors who kill" for all users.
And on Sunday December 2 at the El Zacatín flea market there will be a free activity for children organized by the City of Bullas and Naturaventura el Romero.
The mayor of the area, Chari Martínez, who will read an institutional manifesto in the next plenary session, wanted to invite the general public to attend and participate in the organized activities, highlighting the importance of education and awareness of society as key element for the elimination of all kinds of violence and, in particular, of the violence against women.
