Recently, in a ceremony held in Cartagena, the municipalities of the Region of Murcia: Cartagena, San Pedro del Pinatar, Campos del Rio, Calasparra, Alcantarilla, Bullas and Torre Pacheco, which is one of the municipalities that has renewed its distinction, have been recognized with the stamp of "childhood friendly cities".
A city recognized with this seal is one in which the voices, needs, priorities and rights of children are an integral part of policies, programs and public decisions.
The president of UNICEF in the Region of Murcia, Amparo Marzal, explained that all the municipalities that were present at this event collected this award Amigo Children's City in Oviedo, on November 20, 'Universal Children's Day'.
Bullas was one of the 110 Spanish municipalities recognized for working from its City Council in contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of children and adolescents, as well as implementing all the municipal policies necessary to achieve this goal.
