The City of Bullas through the service of parks and gardens has acquired a weed burner that will treat these in football fields mainly and other areas where you can use this machine.
This new acquisition reinforces the mechanical and manual shredders with which we work to avoid the use of herbicides.
In the parks and gardens service, the eradication of the use of glyphosate and other chemical synthesis herbicides is progressively established.
Weed burners are machines that control unwanted plants without the use of chemical methods.
It is a method of physical control that consists in destroying the adverse vegetation by fire, normally the more dry the better.
This establishes a framework of transition towards the incorporation of gardening criteria that avoid the use of pesticides in general, oriented to build a model of ecological gardening of public management with criteria of quality and sustainability.
