The president of the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura (CHS), Mario Urrea, has held this morning a meeting with the mayor of Bullas, María Dolores Muñoz, which has analyzed the situation in which is the mass of groundwater of Bullas, both from the qualitative and quantitative point of view, recalling in this aspect that it was declared overfished in the Governing Board of the basin organization that was held in February 2018.

This declaration has allowed the recovery of the Mula River to be initiated through the creation of a Central Users Board and an Extraction Ordinance Plan.

The mass of underground water of Bullas is the origin of the springs of the Fountain of the Rafa, Fuente Avilés and of the birth of the Mula river.
