The Brotherhood of San Antón de La Copa de Bullas organizes, in collaboration with the Department of Celebrations of the City of Bullas, during this weekend the festival of San Antón, patron and protector of animals.
This next Saturday, January 18, starting at 8 pm, the traditional brotherhood dinner of all the cupcakes and visitors will take place with a large bonfire with several hundred kilos of sausages.
On Sunday, the auction is held after mass in which the coperos donate different products, mostly homemade, which are then raffled helping to maintain the party and this rich tradition.
The rolls of San Antón that have been blessed by the parish priest Don Julián Marín will also be distributed.
In the afternoon, in the Plaza Juan Pablo II the innocent or spirits dance is performed and the party concludes with the procession at 18.30 in which, at the height of the Llano de la Fuente, the animals will be blessed.
Next, it will give way to a fireworks castle.
From the Brotherhood of San Antón they thank the collaboration and participation, "so natural and magnificent that year after year the neighbors have been performing in the events that are celebrated".
For its part, Mayor María Dolores Muñoz states that "we will enjoy how much these parties offer us, with the amount of people we get to meet in the different activities, because in this way we will be able to avoid problems and fight the cold ".
