Yesterday, the Mayor, María Dolores Muñoz, together with the Councilor for Works, Juan Valera, the Councilor for the Elderly, Chari Martínez, and the members of the Council of La Copa, the Vice President, María Espín, and the Pedneo, José Juan Fernández visited the Social Center of La Copa to see the improvements in the Multipurpose Room on the ground floor of the building.

Accompanied by the architect, they learned how the works in which the staircase that existed, without use, as well as the warehouse located under it have been demolished.

Also, they have relocated the toilets that were in poor condition and did not adapt to current regulations on accessibility.

Now they are next to the access of the building, thus allowing to extend the useful surface and provide greater versatility to this much more diaphanous room that has new audio and light points to house different cultural activities.

The budget for the works has amounted to 20,000 euros, of which 10,000 euros come from the Participatory Budget item of the previous year.

"We have made a considerable effort to adapt this center so that it is beautiful, useful and comfortable at the same time," said the first Edil who expressed her desire that "she be given a lot of life as before, but from now on the best conditions of space, luminosity and accessibility ".
