The Department of Works of the Bullas City Council reports that work has begun on Calle Núñez de Balboa that will bring improvements to the drinking water supply network, in addition to paving the road. The works will consist of replacing the 80mm fiber cement drinking water supply network with a 100mm ductile iron pipe.
Also, stopcocks will be placed at the intersection of this street with Raimundo Muñoz and Nicaragua streets for the sectorization of the area, as well as the installation of a final network drain for emptying it in maintenance operations. The budget amounts to 36,000 euros and will be executed with personnel hired by the City Council of the job boards, except for the connection of the pipes, which will be by specialized personnel. The paving of the road is planned for a second phase of the work.
This work was a priority for the numerous breakdowns that occurred in the lower section of the street and for the poor condition of the road. "As always, we have been acting in works of special importance because it is about improving the drinking water network, where we will be acting in subsequent actions," says councilman Juan Valera.
