Bullas City Council for the purposes provided in the Action Protocol signed by the Segura Hydrographic Confederation (CHS) and the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia (FMRM) of which it is President, the Mayor of Bullas, María Dolores Muñoz Regarding the carrying out of the cleaning and / or disinsection actions of public waterways in urban areas, it has requested the CHS to clean the Rambla channel of "La Caña de La Copa". This cleaning is intended to start the first step to discover the old laundry that existed on the aforementioned boulevard.
The Councilor for Works, Juan Valera, in a meeting with the president of the irrigators of the La Copa fountain, agreed on how good it would be to be able to execute this project.
"When the channel is clean, the corresponding meetings will be established with the Council of La Copa and the Irrigators to shape this special project for all cupbearers and cupbearers," he points out. The project would be carried out in phases, always preserving the heritage, natural and historical value of La Copa. Currently, the surroundings of the Ermita San Antón are being conditioned at the request of the Pedáneo de La Copa and the Brotherhood of San Antón, restoring the banks, putting wastebaskets and cleaning the surrounding areas of weeds. Also, the lack of water pressure suffered by some areas of La Copa, especially in summer, is being evaluated to offer a solution to this problem.
