The Bullas City Council, through the Department of Commerce, in collaboration with the Association of Merchants and Hoteliers of Bullas, announces the bases for the Shop Window Decoration Contest on the occasion of the Bullas 2020 Wine Festivities and Patron Saint Festivities."Following the recommendations of Health not to carry out acts or activities that lead to agglomerations, we propose to decorate our shops and maintain the festive spirit that characterizes us at this time of year," say municipal sources.An alternative to commemorate the festivals and traditions and bring the small local business closer to the citizens.
To participate, merchants with establishments open to the public in Bullas must register at the Cultural Management Office with a deadline until September 30.
All registrants agree to keep the shop windows exposed from September 28 to October 8, 2020 both included.A jury will assess the improvements and more artistic decorations, taking into account that the windows contain motifs alluding to THE WINE FESTIVALS AND THE BULLAS FESTIVALS 2020.
There will be a single prize of € 200 for the winner of the contest.COMPETITION RULESFirst: OBJECT.The purpose of this Contest is to promote the creativity of merchants when presenting their establishments, so that they are attractive to neighbors and customers, while contributing to promoting and boosting local commerce, business revitalization, as well as the culture and traditions of Bullas.Second: THEMATIC.Wine Festivities and Patron Saint Festivities of Bullas 2020.Third: PARTICIPANTS.Merchants with establishments open to the public in Bullas that exhibit one or more shop windows or showcases may participate, and they must be framed within the scope of the 2020 Wine Festivities or Patron Saint Festivities.Quarter.
PLACE AND REGISTRATION DEADLINESRegistration is free and will be done through an instance in the City Council register, or at the Cultural Management Office, located in Plaza de España from 9 a.m.
to 2 p.m., telephone 968 654 868.Merchants interested in participating will register until September 30, 2020.The data that the registration must contain are:-Name and surname of the store representative.-Dni, cif.-Commercial name of the store and its location.-Contact details; phone, email, ect.All registrants agree to keep the shop windows exposed from September 28 to October 8, 2020 both included.Seventh.
JURY ASSESSMENT CRITERIA.The products for sale of the establishment that are in said shop windows may be changed during this period, provided that the shop window decoration is not modified.The jury will assess the improvements and more artistic decorations, taking into account that the shop windows contain motifs alluding to THE WINE FESTIVALS AND BULLAS FESTIVALS 2020 and will be guided by commercial and artistic criteria, highlighting the aspects of:• Quality and harmony.• Modernity, innovation, creativity and originality.• Motifs used for decoration.• Lighting to achieve the atmosphere.• Products used for the reasons.Eighth.
JURY ASSESSMENT AND COMPOSITION VISITS.The jury will visit the shops on the days of the contest without prior notice to the merchant being necessary and will be composed of:• Department of tourism, festivities and commerce.• City Council technicians• Members of different associations.If the jury deems it appropriate, it may declare the Contest void.The participants of the contest accept the Rules of the contest and the decision of the Jury, which will be final.Ninth.
PRIZE.There will be a single prize of € 200 for the winner of the contest.
