The Department of Works of the City of Bullas has reported that, recently, the works have been completed on Mariano Rojas and La Huerta streets.
These have consisted of the construction of sidewalks, a perimeter wall to hold land on the slope of the Los Cantos Institute courtyard, as well as the construction of a rockery around the Los Cantos pine forest.
In addition, the works have concluded with the horizontal and vertical signage throughout the block that includes Mariano Rojas, La Huerta, Hermanos García Gallego and Alfonso Jiménez Lorenzo "El Barbas" streets. "With this work it has been managed, above all, to avoid the danger of landslides of the trees that were not properly subject", says the councilor of the area, Juan Valera.
Likewise, traffic has been regulated in an area with a lot of vehicle traffic, due to the proximity to the institute, the Juan Valera Pavilion sports facilities and the heated swimming pool. In addition, the action has allowed the creation of a pedestrian lane along Huerta Street.
"With this work, the accessibility of people to places of interest in the area is guaranteed, under equal conditions, regardless of the way they move and, above all, road and citizen safety is improved," concludes Valera. The works have been developed with the Municipal Budget in its entirety.
The construction has been carried out by workers from the municipality of Bullas and an external company has been hired for traffic signaling.
