The Bullas City Council, through the Local Development and Equality Councils, and in collaboration with the Intergenerational Solidarity Association, has organized a course on "Gerontology" aimed at caregivers of elderly and dependent people or those who have an interest in caring of older people. This training action is funded by the Ministry of Women, Equality, LGTBI, Families and Social Policy, so the course is completely free. In this 50-hour blended course, content such as aging, factors causing dependency, accident prevention and first aid, Alzheimer's and other dementias, how to stimulate the dependent person and assessment of disability, will be discussed, among others.
