Through interesting techniques and artistic supports, Antonio Per z Bayonas delves into the religious scenes of Francisco Salzillo's Bel n, as well as the popular characters that appear.
From today they can be seen until January 24 at the Bullas Wine Museum.
The Councilor for Tourism, gueda Fern ndez, together with the author of the works, Antonio P rez Bayonas, and the Master Master of the Regional Guild of Various Crafts, Jos Mar a G mez, have inaugurated this tomorrow at the Wine Museum this interesting art exhibition "The Nativity of Salzillo in pyrography and tambourine".
P rez Bayonas, a native of Lorca, retired school teacher and honorary artisan by vocation and entertainment, transforms a three-dimensional and volumetric icon such as the tambourine.
He works with the moving and expressive nativity figures of Francisco Salzillo through their faces, hands and varied details, a constant dispute with the result to be obtained.
"An opportunity to enjoy each one of the figures of the Nativity of Salzillo, to be able to notice every detail, every wrinkle, every expression on their faces, in every staging, so that once viewed, they can be valued in their proper measure and their evaluation is more realistic, since the works made in pyrography are, once seen, at the mercy of each observer ", said the mayor Fern ndez.
This exhibition promoted by the Bullas Wine Museum, the Regional Guild of Various Crafts and the Tourism Council of the City of Bullas, can be visited from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:30 a.m.
to 2:00 p.m.
and from 4 to 7 p.m.
