On December 30, 2020, the Bullas City Council paid tribute to Juan Fern ndez B jar known as Juan de "los Carrascos" because he recently reached the figure, which only a few reach, of 100 years old.
Mayor Mar a Dolores Muñoz and Councilor Alfonso S nchez presented her with a commemorative plaque.
As a consequence of the pandemic, the act was carried out at the door of the house of the honoree in a simple, little crowded way and in compliance with all security measures.
Juan de los Carrascos was part of the auroros of Bullas and La Copa and they surprised him by attending and playing some musical pieces in his honor.
Even Juan himself dared to play his guitar, demonstrating his great skill at his centenary age.
A tribute that moved all those present, including the family that did not want to lose this more than deserved recognition.
