The deputy director general of Equality and Modernization of MARM presents the award to Jose Antonio Miguel Fernández Fernández and Francisco Fernández Escames IES center of the Songs of Bullas Murcia.
The aim of this competition is to expand, through teaching, the sensitivity of the younger population in rural areas by the savings and energy efficiency and promoting renewable energy use.
The Government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, today reported that two students Murcia - Jose Antonio Miguel Fernández Fernández and Francisco Fernández Escames IES center of the Songs of Bullas Murcia - received today, at the hands of the deputy director general of Equality Modernization of MARM, Paloma López Izquierdo, Interregional Competition Award "Do not pass energy culture, which forms part of the awareness project, funded by the Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs, Eureners 2.
The aim of this competition is to expand, through teaching, the sensitivity of the younger population in rural areas by the savings and energy efficiency and promoting renewable energy use.
The contest consisted of a few sets of questions and answers on this issue, in which students participated 2 of the ESO among schools within each district participating in the project.
Specifically, the number of schools that have participated in each region were: 5 of the Comarca de Tierra Estella (Navarra), 7 of the Comarca Sierra de Cazorla (Jaén), 2 of the Land of Liberty County (Ciudad Real), 4 of the District of Integral (Murcia) and 4 of the District of Ripollés Ges Bisaura (Girona-Barcelona).
In these contests county finalists were 5 couples, one from each district, in order to choose a partner who will represent the territory in territorial competition.
Moreover, and as part of the project awareness Eureners 2, have also organized workshops on employability and has prepared an exhibition on renewable energy and energy efficiency savings.
The transnational cooperation project "EURENERS2 - Europe and Energy", the coordinating group is TEDER (Navarra) is a program to promote renewable energy, which account for execution by a grant of 375,000 euros MARM.
This project, carried out in Andalusia, Castilla-La Mancha, Catalonia, Murcia and Navarra, is to encourage savings and energy efficiency and promote the use of renewable energy, especially biomass.
Interregional cooperation projects and tansnascional are part of the National Rural Network, which aims among its objectives to increase the capacity of endogenous development of rural areas, boosting the bottom-up approach and the construction of territorial governance.
For this, the MARM launched in 2008 a call for aid for territorial and transnational cooperation, for local action groups, to promote concrete actions unique, thus making the National Rural Network repository of good practice in order to stimulate the activity of the sectors, groups, organizations, and institutions linked to rural areas.
It is that, through cooperation projects, always in an area of involvement of local action groups based in several regions, the countryside, with its institutions and, above all, with its population, once organized under the formula local action groups is related to other rural areas to analyze their weaknesses, threats, strengths and opportunities, exchange views, to address common objectives, evaluate their performance and develop new goals and new plans of joint work, convinced that cooperation a step forward as a development tool.
