In collaboration with the promoted nationally by the DGT campaign, the local police Bullas joins the Special Campaign "Monitoring of compliance with regulations concerning the Seat Belt and Child Restraint Systems (CRS)" between 14 and 20 March.
The campaign is designed to promote, monitor and intensively monitor compliance with the use of seat belts and child restraints approved elements, such as more effective passive safety systems to prevent injuries in case of accident.
The urban area is the environment in which most journeys are made and where driving habits related consolidated.
The involvement of the local police in Bullas is always total to get, increasingly, the awareness of the risk factors in driving, and internalizing behaviors and safe in all participate in urban traffic behavior, with the ultimate goal to minimize accidents in our city.
Moreover, from the Department of Public Safety remember that violations for not wearing a seat belt or SRI are considered serious and lead to a loss of 3 points and its corresponding economic value of 200 €.
Stressing the importance of its use because it reduces by half the risk of death in case of accident.
This is precisely one of the objectives of the Road Safety Strategy 2011-2020 to ensure that "no child loses his life because it was not properly seated into a suitable seat for their weight and height."
