The Mayor of Bullas, Maria Dolores Muñoz, yesterday received the General Director of Planning, Architecture and Housing, Nuria Fuentes, and the Director of Public Works and Infrastructures, Francisco Bernabé, in the city of Bullas where they presented the Area Regeneration and Urban renewal (ARRU) of the municipality, aimed at the rehabilitation of homes, with a total budget of 770,000 euros.

The Minister stressed that the ARRU "has a very positive social impact with the renovation of the old town of Bullas and the Paradise neighborhood of La Cruz and the Ventorrillo, and the hamlet of La Copa, through rehabilitation and recovery of the oldest and dilapidated housing. "

The ARRU is funded by the three administrations (Ministry of Development, Regional Government and City Council), which allocated 406,025 euros, and owners interested in fixing their homes, which provide 363,975 euros.

Of the 770,000 euros, 690,000 euros is earmarked for aid for the rehabilitation of homes and the remaining 80,000 euros, to increase the quality of the historic center of Bullas and La Copa.

Eligible actions focus on maintenance and intervention on common elements and facilities under three criteria: general state of conservation of the property, improving accessibility and on energy efficiency.

Bullas will be done for a total of 23 buildings and homes, which will run until May 31, 2017.

Applicants for aid communities may be building owners and owners of houses who will receive the grant in two installments;

the first will represent 25.9 percent of the total amount, and the second payment, with the rest, once provided the municipal license and justification for the completion and payment of works.

To report all this, the City will bring together neighborhood groups and the construction sector meeting will be on April 13 at 20.30 in the plenary hall, which will present the Director-General accepted this commitment, to detallarles more information about such public support.

In this sense, the Mayor said that a technician will be at the Municipal Technical Office (C / del Rosario, 3, 2nd Floor), from 9:00 to 14:00 to report the procedures and requirements necessary to qualify aid for housing rehabilitation.
