The Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia yesterday published the final approval of the Municipal, voted Ordinance favorably in the municipal council of Bullas on 27 January by the municipal groups PSOE, PP and IU-Greens and the abstention of Neighbors for Bullas , which regulates the protection of natural areas of high score Mula River.

This Ordinance seeks to combine the right that everyone has to enjoy the natural spaces through which flows the Mula River, some as much interest as the Salto del Usero or Pasico of Ucenda, with the duty to ensure its preservation and rational use, ensuring his legacy to future generations.

Second, it provides for a zoning space, depending on the uses that can accommodate, and guidelines for their use and management are established, introducing limitations to human activity, in order to rational and respectful use of the natural environment, defining typifying offenses and appropriate sanctions.

Thus, the City Council has jurisdiction to ensure compliance with this Ordinance, regulating visitation and establishing the necessary services for the fulfillment of the objectives of these natural areas.

In addition, the participation of social, technical, economic, environmental agents and citizens in general, on the protection of the Upper Basin of the Rio Mula, will be channeled through the Advisory Council on the Environment and Municipal Planning.

To protect natural spaces River passing through the town of Bullas, the Ordinance reflects the number of visitors will be adapted to the carrying capacity of the natural space and environment, and that the traffic flow is limited to engine inside the bank of the river, installing Shading, eat and drink in the area of ​​the channel and use it glassware or any other activity that violates the objectives of conservation and protection of the Rio Mula and environment, among others .

Failure to comply with the rules, which are all included in this Ordinance already in force, shall be punishable with penalties that can range from 30 to 300 euros in the case of minor, serious from 301 to 1,500 euro fine, or in the case of very serious from 1501 to 3000 euros.
