From 15 July to 28 August, the Regional Guild of Handicraft Various presented in the Wine Museum of Bullas, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism of the City Bullense, an exhibition of reproductions of Roman amphorae and Phoenician as well as Argaric ceramics (Bronze Age) from the archaeological site of La Bastida de Totana.
All are magnificent reproductions made by totanera pottery workshop "Hernandez Potters" (heirs of Alfareria ryh), the seventh generation of this alfarera active family.
They are working the clay traditional style, following the techniques of their ancestors potters.
Among his works, along with amphorae and Argaric parts, custom murals, tiles and rustic floors, kitchen, decorating patios and gardens, and a long are etc.
In recent years they have specialized in pottery workshops, mainly for schools and associations throughout the region of Murcia.
Inheritors of an ancient tradition, claim that the little ones know this noble profession as old as the world, that does not disappear.
