The Croatian town of Pula hosted the last on 5 and 6 July the second meeting of the partners that are part of the European Project 'Life Sec Adapt'.
The delegations of Croatia, Italy, Spain and Greece, participated in the meetings in which issues of interest for the development of this cooperation project were clarified.
Among other objectives the organization of events aimed at raising awareness of the need to adapt to climate change, encourage cities to develop measures to reduce the impact of climate change, support and access to information in the design and implementation pursued of local action plans, facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience between cities and to develop studies including an analysis of the situation in a supplement to the existing energy PAES (action plans Sustainable energy Development) sector.
In addition, the meeting served for the mayors of the Region of Istria will sign the agreement by the mayors adaptation (Mayors Adapt).
They all agree that it is very important to go in the same direction to increase energy efficiency, have a stronger sustainable development and provide greater environmental protection.
