At the meeting the mayor and council again urge the Director General the need to build a storm tank that serves to retain rain water and prevent flooding.
The tank would be located in the New Town, near the Escámez factory and, in the case of torrential rains, the situation would prevent the surrounding streets will be flooded, Calle Castilla y Leon and the area of ​​the Glen 'El Prado '.
In short, it is used as a spillway, a dedicated capture and hold rainwater conveyed to him by collectors infrastructure, especially when there is heavy rainfall, to reduce the possibility of flooding in cases where the capacity of draining the water is less than the volume of rain.
The Directorate General stated that the technicians are preparing the project to be implemented as soon as available budget for it.
Other topics discussed at the meeting were related to water collectors, one, the general collector Bullas in the area where the Hotel that reaches him treatment plant, and another, located in Avenida Europa.
