World Alzheimer's Day is celebrated on September 21, so the Alzhad of Bullas Association, in collaboration with the departments of Health and Social Services, celebrates the III Week of Alzheimer with activities for all audiences to raise awareness and give awareness of this disease among the population.
They ripped activities this past Sunday at the flea market 'El Zacatin' where the Association reported from its stand Alzheimer Week and featured products with your logo for solidarity.
They continue today with the screening of the film of Antonio Mercero 'And who are you?'.
The entrance, at 20 am in the House of Culture, will be free until full capacity and at the end there will be a symposium on Alzheimer's disease.
The Third Conference on Alzheimer's and other dementias will be on Thursday, September 15 in the auditorium of the Casa de Cultura and will have specialized professionals in the field.
From 16 pm the doors will open with the delivery of material to all attendees who have registered previously in the Informajoven (Inscriptions for 5 euros).
The event will be opened at 16.30 hours with the presence of the Dean of the College of Psychologists of the Region of Murcia, María José Catalán Frías, the Mayor of Bullas, Maria Dolores Muñoz, Councillor for Social Services, Rosario Martinez, Councilwoman Health, Mati Guillen, and the President of Alzhad, Josefa García.
Then, there will be the first presentation, under the name of 'mild cognitive impairment: the importance of early detection' which will be borne by Sonia Gayoso, Neuropsychologist Clinic Afal Cartagena and Shire.
The second presentation will focus on the 'Home care the person diagnosed dementia' Aurora by Martin Vilchez, Social Educator and Specialist University in autonomy, disability and dependency, the Alzhad Association.
Third is the physiotherapist Raul Galera I deny the charge of the paper 'Mobilizations and transfers: the importance of good practice'.
He is Coordinator Afal Cartagena and Shire, and also associate professor at the UCAM.
The fourth paper will be Ana Maria Bermudez, an expert on aging psychologist and member of the working group of aging of the College of Psychologists of the Region of Murcia.
The title of his presentation will be "Practical tips to psychological and behavioral disturbances in dementia '.
Finally, will the psychologist who specializes in gerontology and coordinator of the Classroom Cognitive Stimulation of Alzhad Association, Laura Caballero, responsible for closing these days with the presentation of the work being done in the classroom cognitive stimulation of the Association since the beginning 2016. And at the end of the conference, there will be a wine of honor at the exhibition hall of the House of Culture.
Finally, Alzheimer Week ends on Saturday 17 September with a children's activity in the library.
At 12 hours, 'The Tribe' will perform a reading workshop with the story 'The sloppiness grandfather Pedro'.
