The Mayor of Bullas, Maria Dolores Muñoz and the Councillor for Education, José Antonio Espin, meet with the General Director of Educational Centers, Maria Dolores Valcárcel, to send you the needs of the municipality over the next regional budgets 2017.

At the meeting, held at the Ministry of Education of Murcia, Mayor and Alderman searched for the works included in the regional budget for 2016 and have not yet materialized, barely leaving two months so that they can be executed.

The works in question are the elevator of Bishops College Garcia Rodenas, which allow access to the second floor of those children and teachers with mobility problems, and building an emergency staircase in the Artero College, which lacks the same and It is a basic necessity for the safety of children and staff of the Centre.

The Director General said that both works will be held in the coming weeks and should be fully implemented by the end of this year.

"This is good news for the educational community of Bullas, since both investments are absolutely necessary for the safety and accessibility of our children in their schools," assured the mayor.

They also used the meeting to transfer to Maria Dolores Valcárcel, the most urgent needs of our community in this area.

Thus, among other issues, they discussed the need to fix the overhang of the roof canopy and Child Rodenas, building an emergency staircase at the same center, expanding spaces in the School of Early Childhood Education El Castellar, urgency to change the asbestos roof of Artero College and the importance of checking the electrical system of the oldest schools in the locality.

The Councillor for Education noted that all these are matters of vital importance for the municipality.

"There are many things to do in different schools in Bullas, so we hope that the Director General take us into account when making future budgets and face next year can continue to improve the state of our schools, still have many needs, "added Espin.

The Director General noted that all proposals Mayor and Alderman moved him, showing willingness to continue working together in solving these problems.
