The Minister for Development and Infrastructure, Pedro Rivera, announced the start of works for the rehabilitation of 18 homes and public spaces in the municipality of Bullas, thanks to the investment of more than 425,000 euros in this regeneration and urban renewal project, including Within the Housing Plan.
The counselor said, after holding a meeting with the mayor of Bullas, María Dolores Muñoz, that "the works will be carried out in the access to common spaces and housing decks, which will also improve accessibility and energy efficiency with The replacement of external enclosures ".
In addition, there will be urbanization works in streets and urban spaces, which will run the town hall.
Pedro Rivera explained that the call for aid to develop improvement actions will be resolved in the coming days.
Grants can reach up to 15,000 euros per dwelling, 47% of the total budget of the works for real estate.
The area in which the action will focus is the historic center and the hamlet of La Copa, with homes with an average of 35 years old and a surface area of ​​more than 290,000 square meters, and seeks to meet the needs of the collective Disadvantaged.
For Pedro Rivera, the revitalization of this enclave "will mean an improvement of the quality of life of the neighbors, since they will be able to have buildings in better conditions, that will retain their initial characteristics in spite of the passage of time."
"This will safeguard the right of families with fewer resources to enjoy decent housing, in this case thanks to the support of the three administrations involved in the Housing Plan and the contribution of individuals," he added.
