Last Saturday was held for the third year in a row the 'SecretWine Walks' enotourism initiative, coinciding with closeness on the date with the European Wine Tourism Day, inviting the user to know the secret wine routes included in the Bullas Wine Route.
The City Council and the Wine Route Association of Bullas promoted this activity, which in this edition allowed the thirty people registered to know one of the most emblematic and hidden corners of the region, such as "La Hoya Ongil", an area that is A mosaic of pine carrasco, vineyard, cereal cultivation and fruit trees that are situated in a terrain in form of 'hoya' surrounded by an abrupt relief of average mountain.
At 9 o'clock in the morning began 'SecretWine Walks', which brought nature and wine together with the participants' reception.
After the walk between vineyards, a small lunch was made and, later, the Bodega del Rosario, the first cooperative of larger size and production of the whole area of ​​DO Bullas, was visited.
The food was in Asador del Noroeste and, finally, those who wanted it ended the day in the facilities of the Wine Museum of Bullas, knowing its history and all the heritage that it houses.
This experience, which is having a good acceptance among the public, has received a special mention in the III Awards of Enotourism 'Rutas del Vino en España'.
