The program for the International Day against Gender Violence, aimed at all audiences, featured different activities throughout the weekend.
Thus, on Friday, November 25, in the afternoon at the House of Culture, a short film screening was shown and, subsequently, the exhibition of drawing, painting and sculpture was inaugurated with the motto 'No to violence against woman'.
Mari Cruz Fernández, a neighbor of Bullas, presented her work "A beautiful flower for love and nonviolence" that earned her the first prize of the contest organized by the Department of Equality and Social Services.
The works will be exhibited until December 9th in the exhibition hall.
Then, in the Plaza de España, the Asociación Manos Limpias collaborated in the development of a protest banner against violence against women and in this same place we were able to hear a group of women protesting against gender violence.
The day ended with the academy Rosa del Carmen and two dances with songs claiming NO to macho violence.
The weekend was completed with other activities.
On Saturday from the Plaza of Spain, the I March against Gender Violence took place, with the participation of some fifty people.
At the end a local police officer read a manifesto that reminded victims killed by their partners so far this year.
In addition, everyone present the challenge of the mannequin or mannequin challenge with the motto "Against gender violence do not stand still" can be seen in the You tube channel of the City.
Also, in the Municipal Library in the Animation to the Reading was read a story by the equality, 'Arturo and Clementina', for children of 3 to 6 years, in charge of the Tribe.
And in the afternoon, in the Hall of Mirrors, the Yawara-Jitsu Tai Sabaki Murcian Association gave a self-defense course free of charge.
On Sunday, Matícate represented 'The boat without fisherman'.
Finally, this Wednesday during the plenary will read an institutional manifesto and on Saturday the auditorium of the House of Culture welcomes at 17:30 hours the movie 'Solo mía' for further discussion and reflection.
