The Department of Culture of the City of Bullas has launched a campaign entitled 'Bullas is Culture' to make known through varied activities and aimed at all audiences the artistic and cultural heritage offered by Bullas and its people.
The councilor responsible, Antonio José Espín, has presented the initiative that will bring together throughout the year and come a wide program in various artistic modalities, such as exhibitions, theater, photography, film, etc.
With the main objective of getting the history, traditions, heritage of Bullas to all the neighbors and outsiders who visit the municipality and more so this year taking into account that Bullas is a city of passage on the Camino de Levante towards Caravaca de la Cruz in The Jubilee year.
'Bullas is Culture' will have several exhibitions, the most immediate one of Easter in the month of March.
There will be competitions like the one of photography 'Bullas in spring' of which soon we will know more details.
Another about selfies and the hashtag #Bullasculpture.
In addition to cultural and literary days dedicated to authors of Bullas, guided tours and theatrical to the historical center of Bullas and its hamlet La Cup, the screening of the film 'La Pila Robá', as well as dedicate the first weekend of June to Activities that recall the day Bullas achieved its independence.
"Our intention is to investigate in the history of the municipality, the architectural, documentary, sculptural and cultural heritage that we have and in those aspects that make up the idiosyncrasy of Bullas, because with knowledge alone we are able to defend and love what is ours, All bullfighters and bullfighters, "said the mayor Espín, adding that" we will continue working on the programming with the members of the Bureau of Culture, the idea is for the campaign to consolidate and offer year after year different activities framed in Bullas Culture'".
