After postponing the first date chosen for the reforestation of the Salto del Usero by rain, this last Saturday could be carried out with the participation of forty volunteers who planted a total of 200 trees on the slope of the basin of the river Mula, calcined By an intentional fire last summer.
The planted trees are almez, pine trees and pines, holm oaks, as well as shrubs such as thyme and lavender.
All were donated by the Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment.
The activity was organized by the Department of the Environment, with the close collaboration of Civil Protection Bullas, also participated the associations Salto Sostenible, Naturaventura the Romero, Bullas Mountain Club, Buenas Migas Association, Northwest Mountain Club Association, and a Medium Agent Environmental Counseling.
From the municipality of Bullas thank all the groups and associations for their involvement and remember that they will continue to work in the area for their protection, regulation and management, as well as the picnic and everything related to it will be monitored and totally prohibited on the bank of the River.
