Yesterday was unanimously approved by all political parties-PSOE, PP, IU-Greens and VxB-the regulation of the Municipal Bureau of Elders of Bullas recently created.
This Municipal Board of Elders is going to debate about the needs and the current situation of our Elders in Bullas and La Copa taking into account the population of the municipality over 65 years that constitute 2,109 people, 17.5% of the population.
Among the functions of the Bureau are preventive, socio-educational, research and analysis, debate and reflection, planning strategies and community actions, coordination and support, resource mobilization, participation, mediation, etc.
With the aim of improving the quality of life of older people in Bullas and La Copa.
The Councilors of Social Services and Health, a representative of the Commonwealth of Social Services, one from each political group, a representative of the Health Center, Equality Agent, another from the Center of Day Stays, a representative of the management company of the Service Of Home Help of the Pensioner of Bullas and also La Copa, another one of the Alzhad Association, five citizens of the municipality and technicians that so request registered in Bullas will be part of this Municipal Table of Elders.
