This morning at the Bullas Wine Museum, the jury's decision has been made up of gastronomic experts from the 'Best Foodstuff' Contest, which has been chosen by the six restaurants and six wineries of the Bullas Wine Route Association paired in this Activity of accompanying dinners included in the cycle dedicated to wine called 'Vinarte'.
Pachi Larrosa, gastronomic critic of 'La Verdad' and secretary of the jury, was in charge of announcing to the winners that in this first edition such recognition has fallen on Restaurante Borrego and Bodegas Carreño.
The general consistency of the pairing, the balance of the dishes, the originality, the arguments of the pairing as well as the final sensation of the whole, all this, added, has made the jury formed by Francisco José Navarro Suárez, academic founder of the Academy of Gastronomy of the Region of Murcia, Francisco Hernández Rodríguez, gastronomic critic in the newspaper of the Opinion, Joaquín Reyes Alcaina, Director of the Magazine Gastrónomo, and the own Pachi Larrosa, will be chosen by these two companies of Bullas, although all of them "Satisfied" in that "local restoration is basically made market cuisine in its different degrees and possibilities, with a specific attention to the products of the territory and respecting the essences that each product offers."
Present at the event were Mayor María Dolores Muñoz, Councilor for Tourism Águeda Fernández, President of the Toñi Fernández Wine Route, Director of the Wine Museum Salvador Martínez, who has served as presenter, members of the jury, as well as Like all the innkeepers and winemakers who opted for this recognition.
We remember that in this gastronomic initiative the restaurants 'La Almazara', 'Asador del Noroeste', 'Campoy', 'Entretiempos café & vino', 'Molino de Abajo' and 'Borrego' participated, maridando their dishes with the wines of Bodega San Isidro, Bodegas Del Rosraio, Bodegas Lavia, Bodega Monastrell, Bodega Balcona and Bodegas Carreño, respectively.
From the City Council and the Wine Route Association have thanked all the restaurants and wineries for their involvement in this experience in which they have participated actively, being involved to be able to offer a better eno-gastronomic experience offering quality and better staging in the Processing of their products.
