The City Council of Bullas has completed the first participatory budgets of its history.
After the days of face-to-face voting, it has been made public what will be the ten projects that will be executed with the 45,000 euros that for this need are reserved from the General Budget.
The process began last February 24 and has required about two months to collect the proposals of the citizens, select the proposals that were to be put to the vote and to carry out the processes of online and face-to-face voting.
As shown in the operating bases, the process has been open to the participation of all people who live, work, feel and have an interest in improving Bullas.
It was not necessary to be registered in the municipality or to be of legal age.
The only conditions required of voters were to be more than fourteen years old and to cast a single vote.
Adding face-to-face and deposited over the Internet, 360 votes have been registered, in which participants, according to their preferences, could rate from one to five a maximum of five proposals from a single area, which they chose (Bullas or La Cup), resulting in a total of 249 votes in Bullas and 111 in La Copa. Initially a total of 70 individual proposals and associations were collected from the municipality, 61 for Bullas and 9 for La Copa. In the first place by those attending the assemblies and later by the Municipal Budget Council in charge of determining the viability of projects on the basis of the budget, these 70 proposals were limited to 38, which were finally able to vote.
