The Spanish Wine Cities Association (ACEVIN) has published the ninth annual report on visits to wineries and wine museums that are part of the Product Routes Wine Club of Spain, a document that allows to know and study the habits and interests Of oenological tourism in Spain.
According to this report, the Bullas Wine Route - belonging to the Club that comprises 27 routes - with a total of 6 wineries and 4 museums, has registered 22,016 visitors in the past year, 912 more than in 2015, Which in percentage translates into an increase of 4.32%.
The data, in addition to reflecting the upward trend in wine tourism, indicate that in Bullas the best month throughout the year 2016 has been April (7,626 visitors), coinciding with the feast of San Marcos and the good spring time.
By cons, the worst month, when wineries and museums receive fewer visits, is July (706 visitors).
All these data, together with the other analyzes carried out by the Tourism Observatory of the Wine Routes of Spain, once again show the importance of wine tourism, especially in the interior destinations, and its consolidation as a tourist product Seasonally, being the case of the municipality of Bullas.
In general, the result of the study again confirms an increase in the number of visitors registered by the wineries and the museums of the routes integrated in Wine Routes of Spain.
The total figure amounts to 2,714,409 visits, 471,469 more than in the previous year, which represents a growth of 21.02% and ratifies the good health of wine tourism.
